‘Wanting to Start Again’ is a violin-piano concert experience that addresses the complicated and difficult feelings that arise when living in a world being ravaged by climate change. This program arose from a feeling of hopelessness and grief fueled by the fires that happened in Banff and Halifax. We wanted to create a space for audiences to sit with their feelings and ask themselves: how do we choose to start again when we are at our lowest?

Our first iteration of this project was to great success at Duo Perdendosi’s 2023 residency at the Lunenburg Academy of Music Performance, and has since been performed at the Ethnographical Museum of Transylvania in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
